What we need:

The Associate Project Manager supports the Portfolio Director in taking a portfolio view of project and resource forecasting, work prioritization, and capacity management. This role manages initial work assignment, daily assignment and re-leveling and resolves resource issues within the functional areas or projects as determined by their Portfolio Director.

What you'll do:
Manages initial work assignment, daily assignment and re-leveling and resolves resource issues within the functional areas
Identifies additional resource needs and works with the Project Management Office (PMO)group and/or functional leads to find internal capacity to meet that need
If necessary, works with the functional leader and portfolio director as necessary to get approval for freelance from the business leader
With the functional leader, helps manage the workload of freelance resources to ensure they are 100% client attributable or sent home while maintaining internal staff at 90% or higher client attributable work levels
Drives and recaps status meetings, daily check ins and other communications in order to effectively act as a resource management liaison between Portfolio Director, AEs, Creative Resource manager and all other necessary functional managers
Identifies and contributes to documents, tools or forums designed to drive effective communication around daily, current week and future resource needs
Supports Portfolio Director, Account Executives and Functional Managers in estimation and resource assignment
Other activities as defined by your Portfolio Director

What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field desired
Internship or 1-2 years project management experience
Familiar with project management tools and familiar with Project Management best practices
Some knowledge of marketing principles and common digital solutions preferred
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated communication skills and focused, calm demeanor
Strong relationship-management skills
Ability to address and resolve conflict while preserving key relationships
Agency experience is a plus
