As a member of our Production Team, the Electronics Operator 3 will assemble and test electro-mechanical products in an efficient, timely, and quality focused manner. To achieve this goal, they will perform a variety of complex operations requiring delicate and safe manual manipulation of electronics using hand tools, production equipment, computers, diagrams, drawings, and oral or written instructions. The Operator will ensure the quality and maintenance of the KPI for the production cell they are supporting by ensuring diligence to all work instructions and ensuring compliance to the quality control inspection procedures. The Operator will be required to continuously learn additional manufacturing cells to the degree that they can train, mentor, and monitor more junior staff on these cells. Finally, the Operator will facilitate, drive to conclusion, and represent the findings of small project to department heads.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production
Work within a team-based manufacturing cell to assemble and test complex, small-form electronics.
Prepare for operator duties by attentively reviewing verbal instructions, work orders, production drawings, assembly instructions, and sample assemblies.
Perform inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
Efficiently assemble and test devices to the KPI set for timeliness and quality.
Recognize and document errors and quality issues within the products.
Successfully learn a variety new products assemblies and testing.
Maintain the stations for cleanliness and safety.
Follow all plant safety, material handling and efficiency guidelines (e.g., ESD, 5S, OSHA, etc.).
Continuously learn new work cells and train junior staff members on these cells.
Facilitate small projects related to Production.
Work with Engineering and Service teams to diagnose and resolve complex issues with our assemblies.
Maintain a record of good and timely attendance.

Basic Qualifications
Associate's degree or its equivalent with the appropriate certifications
Ten years of relevant work experience in electronics manufacturing, assembly, and testing
Documented ability to understand and follow technical instructions drafted or communicated in English
Demonstrated expertise in assembling delicate, small-form technical components in a manner that promotes timely results, a high-quality product, and efficiency at a fast pace
Documented expertise to recognize critical quality errors and escalate appropriately
Ability to document issues in English
Proven ability to work effectively and productively in a cell-based manufacturing team
Demonstrated computer skills (e.g., keyboard, mouse, open browser, launch applications, communicate via email, Excel, and Word).
Proven math skills (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions).
Demonstrated ability to continuously learn new work cells
Proven ability to train junior staff members on specific work cells
Documented experience working with other departments on CIP and suggest Best Practices
Proven steady employment history that indicates timeliness and good attendance.

Demonstrated potential for growth in people leadership skills
