Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring aProgram andCommunication Analystto join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This will be a fully remote position with core hours of operation from Monday- Friday 8AM to 5 PM ET.

Responsibilities

The Program Analyst will support the administrative functions of theEHRM Program Managerand will serve as a key member of the Intake teamwithadditionalresponsibilities that include internal communications and employee engagement as well as support for executive communications. The environment is dynamic and client needs are often evolving. As such, thought leadership, problem-solving, rapid learning, and carrying the innovative mindset needed to lead our clients through conceptualization, strategic planning, and execution is important. Additionally, flexibility and forward-thinking views are important for success.?The role requires strategic thinking, outstanding organization and planning, and a strong ability to collaborate and communicate with internal, cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator and enjoy working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

+ Ensure capture andmonitoraction items status, following up with action owners to ensure resolution, produce, and communicate meeting minutes

+ Identifyand manage risks and issuesimpactingprogress and favorable outcomes

+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently

Communications:

+ Manage the sending ofEHRMteamcommunications, and track and leverage metrics to improve engagement tactics

+ Ensure all executive engagements such asare run smoothly with the right customers/partners engaged, deliver digestible and impactful messaging relevant to the audience and yield productive meeting outcomes

+ Deliver executive-level work products including scripts, speeches, videos, and amplification plans

+ Support theconstruction,planningand executionon executive communication support including leader messaging and development,organizationand employee communications (e.g., all-hands/newsletters/events), internal and external presentation and content support

+ Provide support for engagements such as Brown Bag sessions and Townhalls including scheduling, message planning and coaching,moderatingand conducting follow-up

+ Develops strong internal relationships to provide service and support on communications, stakeholder engagement, and program priorities

+ Working with the Strategic Communications Lead, provide support in managing Intake’sPointand Microsoft Teams Channels including developing creative content ideas and strategies for implementation to drive engagement

General:

+ Manages,coordinatesand distributes all meetings for the EHRM Team, collaborating with the Health Intake Operations Project Analyst and Intake Program Coordinator

+ Manage and execute day-to-day communications and implement tactics outlined in the engagement strategy and communications plan

+ Develop clear andtimelycustomer focused messaging to drive customer engagement

+ Supportthe maintenance ofcommunications library of messaging documents, briefing materials,FAQs, GoodNewsStoriesand other communications focused materials for consumption andutilizationacross theHealthportfolio

+ Create FAQs, newsletters, whitepapersand other written communications targeted to internal and external audiences within VA including but not limited to the Intake team, VA and VHA leadership, as well other portfolios across SPM and Health

+ Understanding existing processes, andprovideprocess improvementrecommendationfor documents, presentations, memorandums of understandings/memorandums of agreements, and Standard Operating Procedures

+ Support fast turnaround requests for data. Be able to understand “the ask” and request information from theappropriate individual(s)

+ Promptly respond to requests from VA for document retrieval and ad hoc reports

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

+ Bachelor’sdegreein abusinessdiscipline plus8years’ experience

+ 8additionalyears of experience may be substituted for degree

+ Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills with proven ability to balance competing tasks and meet deadlines

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including reports and presentations

+ Ability to work independently in a dynamic, collaborative, and results-driven environment with minimal guidance and supervisionwhile building and managing team relationships

+ Means to build and manage client and professional relationships at all levels

+ Powerful problem solving, applied reasoning, and analytical skills; experience translating analysis into clear recommendations and concrete action steps for diverse audiences

+ Comfortable presenting to multiple different audiences

+ Ability to meet deadlines (short turnarounds sometimesrequired)

+ Proficiencywith MS Office Suite

Preferred Skills and Experience

+ Prior experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other Government agency.Current VA network access is highly desired.

+ Familiarity with Agile/SAFemethodology

+ Experience and knowledge of VA centric applications such as JIRA, and ServiceNow

Clearance Required:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust Clearance

+ Must be a US citizen

+ Must be able to pass background investigation

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $95,000.00 – USD $105,000.00 /Yr.
