Position Summary:

Under direct supervision, compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Perform inventory and cycle counts for a large variety of foodservice products.

+ Print cycle count books, then physically count inventory and enter results into the database.

+ Perform a full physical inventory count of the entire warehouse twice per year.

+ Maintain accurate records of inventory.

+ Communicate with the inventory supervisor, VP of Finance and other staff as necessary.

+ Work in a variety of temperatures including a freezer area that is maintained at -10 degrees.

+ Stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.

+ Lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and up to between 60 and 90 pounds on occasion, depending on the location, throughout shift.

+ Operate a powered pallet jack and a high lift picker in a safe manner.

+ Work at heights properly using fall protection equipment.

+ Use personal protective equipment as needed.

+ Research and reconcile variances.

+ Ensure that returned merchandise is handled properly and according to policy.

+ Spot check freshness codes and proper rotation of all inventory.

+ Perform assigned job duties under constant time pressures.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED.

Excellent data entry skills especially dealing with numbers.

Hight attention to detail.

Good math skills.

Work in a variety of temperatures including a freezer area that is maintained at -10 degrees.

Stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
