Overview

 

Summary
This position drives innovative solution designs for ConvergeOne (C1) software products. It identifies and prioritizes business requirements, builds the technical design, and works with a team of C1 developers and contractors in the coding and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) of product software. The role undertakes deployment of C1 software products, configures and maintains C1 product solutions for C1 Customers. 

 


Responsibilities

 

Essential Functions
Works with Professional Services, implementation, cutover and support for new GA products, features and customizations
Works with the Customer Success Centers, provides Tier 3/4 Day2 services including troubleshooting, diagnosis and bug fixes for assigned core products, features and customizations
Wors with delivery team to install and configure C1 Media Gateway (C1MG) instances and providing cutover and postproduction support
Works with customer to establish connectivity between C1MG in Cloud and on prem servers
Assists in the design the architecture of C1MG in High Availability environment
Mentors the software development team including Software Developers, Contractors and Interns carrying out tasks associated with the above Essential Functions to design, develop and CI/CD new releases of products, features and customizations
Updates and maintains technical documentation and code repositories for deployment configuration and customizations as part of post-production support.

Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Stays current on evolving script programming languages and deployment methodologies
Stays current on evolving Customer Experience Management (CX) technologies, applications and platforms; this includes but is not limited to the cloud and customer-premise versions of Contact Center Infrastructure (CCI) platforms, enterprise applications, CX Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions
Evaluates and scopes application development/deployment initiatives
Provides technical guidance and input for the Go-To-Market activities for assigned GA products

 


Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications
College degree BSEE/CS or equivalent mix of education and experience
8+ Years' Experience in Linux OS and In-Depth Knowledge with Telephony, REST/Web Services and VOIP technologies.
4+ Years' Experience and In-Depth Knowledge of Lean/Agile Development Methodologies, and Product Lifecycle Management
Extensive knowledge in all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle (Design, Development, Testing, Deployment and Support) using development methodologies and Agile (Scrum, Kanban, TDD - Test driven development, CI-Continues Integration) automation test and has exposure in the implementation of Internet/Intranet, Client/Server.
Extensive work experience in a Team/Development with complete ownership of end to end deliverables including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, launch and post-production support.
Extensive experience in working in Linux environments including multiple Distros (Ubuntu/Debian/Centos/Redhat)
Extensive knowledge in FreeSwitch installation, configuration and customizations
Experience in configuring connectivity with remote SIP endpoints (Session Border Controllers, Avaya session manager, etc.)
Understanding SSL protocol and certificate creation and experienced in setting up and troubleshooting TLS connections.
Deep understanding of SIP protocols and message sequences and experienced in troubleshooting communication errors using tools like sngrep or traffic sniffers.
Experience in Sofia SIP configuration and profile management.
Understanding various media codecs (PCMU, PCMA, OPUS, DTMF telephony event)
Experience in setting up call recording in FreeSwitch.
Experience in creating custom application using Lua, JavaScript or ESL API to integrate with external CRM systems or IVA providers
Experience in compiling / installing / configuring FreeSwitch modules (eg. AMQP, V8,... For full info follow application link.
