Innovation Program Manager

The program manager has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, scaling and closure of portfolio projects related to Endeavor Health's Innovation Focus Areas. This role works in partnership with many other departments within the system and external stakeholders to make decisions, both large and small, to move projects forward in execution. The program manager, works in a highly collaborative and matrixed nature in conjunction with work groups, to ensure projects are fully defined/scoped, detailed/comprehensive work plans are developed, metrics are established and tracked and timelines and budgets are successfully managed.

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Required Travel: Travel to other Endeavor Health locations may be required.

What you will do:

Oversees all aspects of project management aimed at advancing innovation portfolio. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities and monitors and summarizes progress of projects. Prepares reports for leaders and teams regarding status of projects. Identifies critical path to success to ensure projects remain on target.

Develops deep customer understanding in order to support the implementation or advancement of new and innovative solutions to solve unmet or unsatisfied customer needs. Synthesizes a variety of information to inform and communicate project objectives, milestones, and progress. Provides reports to Innovation Team Leadership, Innovation Governance Committee and other internal leadership structures to ensure strategic goals around innovation are being met.

Partners in the planning and execution of Endeavor Health's Innovation Portfolio, and assists with sourcing new, transformative ideas and solutions to advance the health care we deliver.

Develops business case/assessments for innovation projects/solutions. Assists in the analysis of strategic benefit and financial ROI for vetted solutions. Takes a lead role in creating buy-in/support from internal stakeholders, leadership, and system executives as needed.

Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Performs risk management to minimize project risks. Reports and escalates to leaders as needed. Performs a variety of tasks in order to complete work or direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Supports the ongoing internal communication and presentation of progress towards our strategies, goals, and initiatives related to innovations, digital technology, and healthcare consumerism.

Defines requirements and resource allocation for specific assigned projects and partners with IT, Planning, Marketing, Operations, Patient Experience, Finance and other departments to elicit feedback around needs and support to drive the work forward.

Identifies and tracks key performance indicators (e.g., financial metrics, adoption, usage and customer satisfaction) for each initiative implemented to make informed decisions and to show improvements/opportunities, and progress towards short and long term goals.

Creates dashboards/summary documents and other collateral to support the broader innovation team and its communication objectives.

Creates and implements support mechanisms and processes that allow for continuous improvements over time.

Maintains strong/productive and ongoing relationships with external partners to support our Partner of Choice Model.

What you will need:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Administration, Informatics, Clinical Focus or appropriate field of study, required. Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, preferred.

Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) / Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) or greater certification, preferred

Experience:

7+ years of healthcare or business experience with an emphasis in project management, innovation development, information technology, marketing or planning

2+ years pf proven project management experience managing large, complex, cross functional and high risk projects.

Unique or Preferred Skills:

An understanding of healthcare operations and the associated complexity

Ability to work in a diverse environment with focus on customer service

Excellent internal and external, and written and verbal communication skills
