$5K Sign-On Bonus for candidates with 1+ year of experience as a GI Tech
Position Details
Full-time Only - Monday - Friday, Daytime hours, 8 hours per day
Permanent position (not a summer role)
Includes on-call duties each week
No weekends or holidays (unless on call)
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
Preferred, not required: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistance program, Certified Nursing Assistance program or Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
Experience as a Medical assistant, Patient Care Tech/Nursing Assistant or similar position highly preferred
Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy & medical terminology required, basic computer experience, able to take vitals and perform CPR
CPR (Basic life support) issued by American Heart Association upon hire.
Job Duties
* Room patients, take vital signs
* Maintain the procedure room set up, equipment care and maintenance
* Assist with specimen collection
* Assist physicians during procedures
* Disinfect instruments
* Assist with patient care under the supervision of the RN
