Position Highlights:
Position: Mental Health Associate I
Location: Naperville
Part Time (32 hours per week)
Hours: PM's 3:00pm-11:30pm
Provides direct patient care to patients with behavioral health disorders. Participates in treatment planning and implementation. Facilitates groups within assigned treatment programs. Documents according to department/organization procedures. Ensures the safety and well-being of these patients by maintaining a safe milieu.

What you will need:
Education and/or Experience Required:
A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Behavioral Health related field, no previous experience or
A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a non-Behavioral Health related field, a minimum of one year of behavioral health experience
Maintain information as highly confidential
Ability to maintain professional boundaries and willingness to seek supervision
Education and/or Experience Preferred:
Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology
Skills in teaching or assisting with activities of daily living
Prior experience with therapeutic limit-setting and milieu management
Licensure and/or Certification Required:
A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire
Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
