Position: Operations Manager
Primary Location: Cairo, OH
Reports to: Plant Manager
Compensation: $130,000-140,000 + bonus, + benefits (salaried, exempt)
Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific salary range for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in the US roles postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, benefits, pension contributions or additional incentives

About This Role and You

The Operations Manager leads a high performing team in meeting the needs for highly specialized materials supporting a rapidly growing semiconductor manufacturing industry that will be highly dynamic over the next decade. The Ops Manager also has a shared accountability for ensuring reliable, cost-effective, profitable operations of our Cairo, OH Ultra-Pure Acid plant while meeting and exceeding Responsible Care and exacting Quality standards.

The Operations Manager is a pivotal part of the plant management team in advancing the performance of people, and systems in the operations team and plant, to the highest possible standards. This exciting role includes networking and sharing best practices with other Chemtrade Ultra-Pure Acid facilities, as well as with other industry leaders, customers and suppliers.

Qualifications
5+ years' experience working within specialty chemical, semiconductor fabrication, or chemicals processing environments, and a track record of successful improvement implementation
BS in engineering from an accredited university is a requirement, ChE or ME preferred, other disciplines with relevant experience considered.
Good understanding of success factors for EHS in manufacturing
Experience with quality standards, management of change, and continuous improvement
Relevant leadership experience
Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
Strong problem-solving skills
Experience with Continuous Improvement projects and 6-sigma desired
Medical Requirement

Responsibilities
Responsible for leading all manufacturing employees in safely operating the plant, to meet production, quality, safety, and environmental goals.
Work with various departments at the site to ensure manufacturing and site goals are being met.
Operate the plant within approved fixed and variable budget plans. Track expenses and reconcile spending and usage to plan. Assist in preparation of the plant's expense and capital plans.
Lead troubleshooting and resolve equipment and operating problems.
Ensure plant EHS, regulatory and ChemTrade policy compliance.
Ensure that employees are properly trained, and the proper records and documentation are maintained.
Actively work to develop personnel
Participate in job safety analysis activities
