Job Description
CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Buffalo Grove, IL: Sr. Manager, Digital Engineering to plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects for CVS Health’s digital transformation and digital products. Duties include: plan project stages and help in implementing the digital roadmap to enable delivery of products to drive engagement and revolutionize health and wellness; lead and guide the work of Quality Engineering team and set goals using defined metrics to track progress; monitor project execution to ensure adherence to schedule and scope and adjust team pace and progress to instill urgency for success but protect from burnout; confer with inter-team project personnel and different Agile teams to identify and resolve problems either within the same solution or across solutions in the organization; ensure project stakeholders are informed of progress and risks in a timely manner by translating the information from the team’s “task boards”, “burn downs”, and ROAM, and serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects; support the professional development of Quality Engineering team members through mentoring and training; submit project deliverables and be accountable for technical output of team in coordination with senior team members; provide guidance to the team on technical and process aspects to promote sound testing principles, and contribute to improving Quality Engineering practices. Requirement: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Java, Python, or Node.js; Unit and automation testing; Writing clean, high quality, high performing, scalable code; and Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles.
