Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

As a Lead Data Engineer you will be responsible for understanding the current scope or processes surrounding Ledger in Mainframes both upstream and downstream to Existing Ledger. You will drive discussions with the client to upgrade the processes in new ERP Landscape. You will drive discussions with the client to retire legacy processes that will no longer be needed. You will build/ update components in Mainframes to provide unput to ERP Solutions.

+ Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

+ Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

As a part of the US Strategy & Analytics Offering Portfolio, the AI & Data offering provides managed AI, Intelligent Automation, and Data DevOps services across the advise-implement-operate spectrum.

Qualifications

Required

+ 8 years total experience in data analysis, ETL

+ 8 years total experience understanding of the Insurance domain

+ Ability to understand mainframes code – Cobol, JCL jobs design build to do reverse engineer, perform data lineage, etc.

+ Understanding scheduling needs and building control-M jobs

+ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

+ Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

+ Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment

Preferred

+ Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities

+ Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products

+ Can operate independently or with minimum supervision

+ Excellent Written and Communication Skills

+ Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
