Job Title: Assistant Director – Sponsorship and Event Manager

EY is seeking a dynamic Sponsorship and Event Manager who thrives on creating and delivering extraordinary events and experiences for external stakeholders. This role entails orchestrating the planning and successful implementation of medium to large scale third-party events, from conception to completion, in collaboration with a Marketing Program Lead as well as curating and executing EY-hosted events.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Conceptualize and execute B2B sponsorships and bespoke experiences that enhance EY’s brand image and strengthen our connections with clients and potential clients through impactful interactions, social engagements, and branding initiatives.

+ Collaborate with the Consulting Marketing Program Lead to oversee aspects such as messaging, branding, and content.

+ Engage with essential marketing and business partners throughout the event lifecycle, from planning to execution, which includes crafting and refining project plans and event presentations, messaging, visual asset creation or modification, invitation procedures, attendee strategies, budget management, billing processes, liaising with PR and social media teams, crafting internal communication strategies, and conducting post-event activities.

+ Efficiently manage concurrent projects using project management tools and essential Microsoft Office Suite applications. Utilize event and project plans, playbooks, and budget trackers to ensure effective project management and successful event outcomes. Post-event responsibilities encompass debriefing reports, reconciling invoices, and evaluating event effectiveness.

+ Coordinate with external entities such as event hosts, EY-approved suppliers, and destination marketing organizations to guarantee high-quality and timely event deliverables.

+ Oversee on-site event management, including coordination with teams/vendors, addressing last-minute logistical requirements, and ensuring smooth event setup and execution, with the ability to provide real-time guidance and adjustments as necessary.

+ Conduct regular planning meetings with key stakeholders, the marketing team, and the event planning team.

+ Build and maintain relationships with business partners, the marketing team, vendors, compliance, and other critical stakeholders through strategic communication, collaboration, and purpose-driven engagement to deliver a premier event experience.

+ Work closely with the EY Travel Meeting & Events Team on event logistics, including venue selection for receptions, virtual events, and more.

+ Integrate all EY Consulting brand elements into event and sponsorship endeavors.

+ Act as a brand champion for EY.

Skills & Qualifications:

+ 8-10 years of relevant professional experience.

+ High-performing individual with a proactive approach, strong project management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a virtual setting.

+ Demonstrated experience working on medium to large scale external sponsorships as well as creating curated experiences and events.

+ An entrepreneurial spirit, ready to take initiative and adapt in a fast-paced setting.

+ A proactive, motivated self-starter with sound judgment.

+ Proven creativity in designing new events and experiences tailored to business objectives and within B2B.

+ Experience in building relationships and influencing diverse stakeholder groups.

+ Ability to collaborate across the organization and work cross-functionally to achieve exceptional results.

+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

+ Advanced technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

+ Willingness to travel as needed.

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $98,100 to $178,100. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $117,700 to $202,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
