Responsibilities:

+ As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for:

+ Cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces to high standards of cleanliness.

+ Ensuring that infection control and safety protocols are followed in all cleaning procedures.

+ Handling and disposing of waste in accordance with facility policies and regulations.

+ Collaborating with the maintenance team to report any issues or repairs needed.

+ Assisting with the setup and cleanup of special events or activities within the nursing home.

+ Providing support and a friendly presence for residents as you perform your duties.

Qualifications:

+ Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.

+ Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, infection control, and safety procedures.

+ Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

+ Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

+ Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents.

+ Physical ability to perform the tasks associated with the role, including lifting and moving light furniture.
