This mechanical project engineer will manage 5-10 projects at a time. This person will be responsible for managing the project through the design process. They will take the designed parts and integrate the drawings together to compile them and put the assemblies together. All of the drawings are done in inventor. From there the drawings will be manufactured. This person will be responsible for managing the PDM and BOM’s for releasing to be ordered. They will coordinate the manufacturing with the shop floor. Once manufactured, this person will do the final testing of the systems make sure that the systems operate as intended. They will then close out the reviews and work on improvements and adjustments for manufacturing.

The designs this person would be doing is a mix of longer-term design and customer-based designs. Basically, products they sell vs products they design to be sold.

30% compiling drawing packages

15% coordination with shop floor

15% testing of the system

15% close out of reviews

10% misc- system design improvements (work on designs)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

0+ years experience (Internship preferred, will look at someone with 1-2 years exp)

3D design experience (ideally inventor)
