Hello! I’m currently hiring for a Test Engineer in the Chicagoland area. Please see below for additional details:
This person will write test plans, develop microcontroller firmware, and create test solutions for transitioning the assembly into a production test environment.
Description:
- Develop test solutions for the production team. These solutions include programming tests into a system for our line and other microcontroller-based test solutions.
- Debug test solutions directly and provide direction to production personnel throughout development cycle.
- Identify which aspects of design need to be 100% tested on every assembly.
- Familiarity with creating Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis for a design, including both possible hardware and software failures.
Requirements:
- Experience in setting up automated test processes
- Understanding of Statistics and Analyzing test results
- Experience in product development including schematic design
- Experience with writing embedded software for microcontrollers
- Experience with Embedded development (C, Python, Labview, etc)
