About the Role

We are currently looking for a Program Manager for our Regulatory, Mobility Legal team. We are seeking specific expertise in supporting a fast-paced organization through the development, implementation, and management of regulatory strategy and programs to ensure compliance with local and national regulations.

What you’ll do

+ Work with a highly collaborative team supporting the East regulatory team, leading project management aspects and research on local license requirements and city license applications.

+ Establish legal tools, playbooks, and policies. Help build and update standards and practices for legal review and approvals.

+ Organize and maintain responses to regulatory inquiries, requests for information, data requests, internal reviews, regulator investigations, and annual reports.

+ Copy, edit, and cite check public filings and comments.

+ Coordinate electronic filings with local regulators.

+ Assist with obtaining certifications needed for regulatory filings, applications, etc.

+ Handle and lead special projects.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house environment, with experience working with organizations to build internal business processes and experience in researching statutes and/or regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Proven ability to track complex projects across the team and keep people focused on mission and deadlines.

+ The ability to juggle multiple projects at a time in an exciting, fast-paced environment, both collaborating as a team to stay in sync and working independently to get the job done.

+ Strong interpersonal skills and highly collaborative with both business leaders and cross-functional partners, with a strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with others.

+ Technical know-how with at least an intermediate level of computer skills, including a working knowledge of Google suite, Excel, Word, Adobe, Box and other web-based applications.

+ Self-motivation with a strong affinity for vision setting, strategic problem solving, and driving action.

+ Embody the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and accountability.

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$91,000 per year – USD$101,500 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$101,000 per year – USD$112,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
