Position:Senior Technical Specialist
Position Summary:
BuddoBot is seeking an experienced IT Subject Matter Expert/Senior Technical Analyst to assist the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The HUD OCIO is responsible for enabling the creation and sharing of business information in support of the HUD mission. The branch manages the HUD portfolio of information and information technologies (IT) to ensure HUD's IT investments generate business value while mitigating risks.
Clearance Eligibility:Ability to obtain a Public Trust Level 5
Salary: The salary offered will depend on education, certifications, length and relevance of work history, and professional experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical, managerial, and administrative direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and performance assessment.
Make recommendations and advise on organization or enterprise-wide system improvements, requirements, systems design, optimization, or sustainment efforts.
Support the Project Manager to develop and execute the IV & V plan and execute all activities required to verify and validate the technical solutions and schedules.
Provide monthly Quality Assurance (QA) Monitoring Report that assesses the current performance of the IV&V Program.
Possess strong verbal and written analytic skills.
Writing, creating, and reporting on performance metrics such as SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs.
Audit desktop and laptop break-fix reporting.
Experience in help desk operations to audit performance deliverables.
System administrator experience.

Education and Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in the IT Computer Software field with 10+ years of relevant experience
Master's degree with four (4) years of relevant experience
Background and Experience:
In lieu of the 10 years of experience, the IT Subject Matter Expert (Senior Technical Specialist) may have a Master's Degree from an accredited academic institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in one or more of the following disciplines in the IT Computer/Software field or a similar discipline, with a minimum of four (4) years of experience working under a similar project.
Required Technical Skills:
Network and telecommunications.
Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Microsoft Multifactor Authentication, and Security.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
General office environment. Work is generally sedentary but may require movement about the office for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
Contractor site with 0-10% travel possible
Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages.
Occasional movement of small articles up to 10lbs
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Continually operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
Occasionally required to move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
Continually required to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
