Summary

The role of IT Application Analyst -Associate to Senior level is to learn and support the day-to-day activities of Application Support duties associated with application(s) assigned to them from the suite of COTS –commercial off the shelf- software that form the organization’s Microsoft based Enterprise application portfolio.  The portfolio is centered on a group of COTS packages. Duties encompass the configuration, administration, support, maintenance, vendor enhancements, and overall operation of the applications from an IT perspective but does not involve code development (with the exception of Report Development).  The incumbent will have a goal of becoming a subject matter knowledge resource for their portion of the organizations’ Enterprise applications.  The incumbent will be expected to learn and assist with all daily/weekly/monthly activities relating to their assigned system(s).  They will be expected to learn and apply the Company’s IT procedures to properly perform their assignments.  Essentially this role will help design build out and outline all necessary security access to all programs assigned by title across the enterprise.

Accountabilities
Responsible for application support and testing, will manage assigned tickets in a timely manner with direction.
Will provide application support for assigned system(s) as directed.
Work with other support providers, including third party vendors and internal technical resources, to identify and resolve application issues while learning to monitor application operations and performance.
Will also assist with root cause analysis support for applications error investigations and execute approved application changes/correction procedures as provided by vendors/senior analyst.
Support of projects or system enhancements for assigned applications.
Familiar with SOX concept, access control, active directory and software applications support systems.
Assist in identifying tasks and effort required to scope out changes to the assigned applications
Participate in on call rotation to provide off-hours support for application end users
Gain and maintain a working knowledge of other applications in the team's portfolio, for basic support response and resolution of requests while on call 

Education and Experience
4 Year Degree preferred or professional applicable experience
Basic job Knowledge – specialized commercial technical, trades or office operations areas also considered
