Job Description

Position Highlights:
Position: Medical Dosimetrist
Location: Evanston, IL
Hours: Per Diem/ PRN
Shifts: Day
Required Travel: minimal partial remote

Responsibilities:
Implement department policies and procedures to uphold top-tier patient care
Create high quality computerized radiation treatment plans, prioritizing patient safety and treatment efficacy.
Actively engage in initiatives for improved patient outcomes
Contribute to clinical projects to implement innovative techniques

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree Required
2+ years' on-the-job training and work experience in medical dosimetry under the supervision of a Certified Medical Dosimetrist or Medical Physicist.
Proficiency in understanding the technical aspects of radiation oncology as necessary to provide safe and effective treatment
Familiarity with relevant state and national radiation safety requirements
