Job Description
Basic Job Functions:Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
The role of the Electrical Supervisor is to lead the team in all aspects of our business based on our core value of safety. This position will be responsible for the development of a strong team of electrical and automation technicians. This development includes safety efforts and ideas, technical strengthening, as well as maintenance and operation team building and coordination. The successful team member must be able to lead maintenance and operation team building and coordination.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in industrial electrical maintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong electrical knowledge encompassing PLCs, HMIs, AC & DC drives, hydraulics and power distribution
