THE POSITION

Responsible for the definition, implementation, and control of the metrology process in compliance with TS 16949, associated reference manuals, ISO 17025, and other internal, regulatory or customer requirements for the PLT, TT and PCT plants.

1. Definition and implementation of all calibration methods (For internally performed calibrations)

2. Definition and review of calibration frequencies (Using the prescribed methodologies)

3. Co-ordinate, execute, and follow up of required calibrations (Internal and external)

4. Upkeep and protection of plant NIST traceable standards and plant calibration lab

5. Coordination, scheduling and review of MSA studies, including necessary improvement action plans

6. Maintain calibration and MSA records

7. Establishment of the work schedule for calibration technicians

8. Document control of all laboratory records

9. Support audit function for external and internal audits; qualified as Lead Auditor for plant internal audits
