The Staff Internal Auditor will contribute to financial and operational audits by assessing the design and effectiveness of internal controls, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and corporate standards. This position offers exposure to many areas of the business and long-term opportunities within Internal Audit or other departments. Responsibilities include:
- Execute audit fieldwork with supervision from Seniors or Managers, including completion of audit work programs, control evaluations and testing.
- Support audit scoping and development of work programs.
- Assist in identifying and analyzing risks and related processes.
- Aid in preparing audit findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to marketing the IAS team's objectives and successes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance departmental effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with peers and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-3 years of internal/external auditing experience with basic knowledge of audit methodologies
- Desire to pursue professional development; CIA required within 12 months of hire
- Additional certifications such as CPA, CFE and CISA encouraged
- Passion to see ideas translate into process and operational improvements
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
