What to Expect
Schedule: Days Monday-Friday 7:00 AM -3:30 PM (rotates W/E on call)

As a Med Lab Scientist, you'll get to:
- Perform high complexity testing in immunohematology, including antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and crossmatch.
- Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services.
- Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations.
- Conduct training, observations, competency assessments and documentation.
- Participate in technical investigative studies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or clinical laboratory science required.
- Must satisfy CLIA equivalent for high complexity testing required.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist or Blood Banking Technologist (BB) by a recognized certifying agency required.
- Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) preferred.
- Three years of laboratory testing experience required.
- One year of Reference Lab/IRL experience preferred.
- Two years of experience in a lead or charge capacity required.
