Where you will work
The Elwood facility produces bathroom tissue, household paper towels, facial tissue, and napkins for major retail outlets throughout the United States. The Clearwater Paper facility sits on 14 acres and boasts over 200 talented employees. The manufacturing process at Elwood is highly automated with 9 converting lines utilizing slitters, rewinders, wrappers, and a variety of laser-guided vehicles. What you will do
The Planner Scheduler for Maintenance assists in the development, planning, and coordinating of a preventative maintenance program. This position develops standard operating procedures and assists in all major and minor equipment repairs as needed.
Ability to develop maintenance plans, including materials used, man hours needed, sequence of activities, and support services
Assist in initiating preventative maintenance. Coordinate regular activities. This includes hands-on field measurements and field parts verification
Develop short, mid, and long-term maintenance plans for equipment
Monitor and track internal labor and materials utilizing the JDE work order system. Oversee JDE notification flow and backlog. Conduct maintenance log audits.
Assist in the development of equipment inspection procedures by maintenance and electrical departments for proper maintenance of mill equipment
Attend scheduled Operations review meetings as directed by Maintenance Manager
Facilitate the maintenance shift hand-off (SHO) meetings and issue daily work orders for the electrical and mechanical team
Work with Storeroom Coordinator to plan and schedule spares, material reservations, and work order kitting for planned jobs. Assist in filling purchase requisitions
Develop Gantt charts for outage jobs and projects
Hold self and others to a high level of safety standards, ensuring workplace safety policies are upheld and safety rules are followed (lockout/tagout procedures, appropriate PPE)
Participate as needed in safety incidents and help investigate the root cause
Ensure the work environment is clean and free from debris

What you will need
To be successful in this position, we are looking for candidates with the following:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)
Minimum 5 years demonstrated mechanical experience or 3 years of related education in lieu of experience required
Maintenance planning experience preferred
Experienced in working with computerized maintenance systems preferred
Internal candidates must have completed a minimum of Level 5 Qualification
Microsoft Office products, JDE work entry, Client Workflow, Process Map, etc. required
Blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings required
Industrial motor controls and troubleshooting required
Able to work in a physically demanding environment including temperature extremes, loud noise, avoiding slipping, tripping, and falling hazards
Able to wear and comply with all personal protective equipment (Eye and ear protection, steel-toed shoes, etc.)
Able to lift, up to 40 lbs frequently, between 40 and 50 lbs occasionally, over 50... For full info follow application link.
