You enjoy operating in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment and combines critical thinking and analytical skills with experience in multiple disciplines, including supply chain network optimization, transportation strategy, inventory strategy, distribution center operations or finance.
You will report to the Sr Director, Network Strategy. This role is base in Lake Forest, IL.
You Will:
Summarize all data to develop a distribution strategy that considers customers' requirements, competitive landscape, industry trends and standard methodologies to support the company's growth plans
Improve and push the supply chain to improve by developing models, conducting analyses, and running pilots to identify service and cost improvement opportunities for domestic and international markets:
Figure out optimal product flows from supplier to customer
Improve reach and capabilities of distribution network
Identify and size necessary supply chain capacity investments
Design customer order routing strategy, monitor and report out on important supply chain performance metrics and provide business support for long-range forecasting process and medium and long-term business plan development
Simultaneously lead multiple projects in a dynamic environment and build reciprocal relationships with broad sets of internal partners to design and execute prioritized opportunities
Lead a team of motivated individuals to be tomorrow's business leaders
Develop executive-level content and present recommendations to senior leadership and partners to gain understanding on priorities and investments
Work with external partners, contractors and vendors, implement exclusive network design tools and handle data warehousing activities.
You Have:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Statistics or related fields (required); MS/MBA preferred.
8+ years of combined work experience in supply chain network design or optimization, operations planning, inventory planning, transportation and supply chain finance.
Experience leading and developing teams of professionals.
Experience in finance and capital project management experience preferred.
Experience in high SKU count, high service distribution environments a plus.
High analytic capability with a data-driven approach to solving complex supply chain problems. Enhance the skills desired here
