$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE FOR EXTERNAL CANDIDATES WITH THIS POSITION

This full-time position on Heritage Behavioral Health Center's leadership team provides clinical and administrative leadership to clinical programs providing crisis response, support, and accessing services. Heritage responds to individuals seeking help with depression, anxiety, substance use, and/or other distressing symptoms, by providing a supportive response, counseling, and linkage to ongoing supportive services. The program will provide support to anyone, anywhere, and at any time.
Clinical Responsibilities Include:
Face-to-face, telephone, and virtual sessions to provide support and counseling
Provide clinical services including assessment, crisis intervention, short-term counseling, and crisis safety planning
Assess suicide risk utilizing standardized tools
Provide case management services to ensure referral and linkage to services that will support the individual's overall health and wellness
Maintain positive relationships with referral sources and community providers
Collaborate with multiple internal and external providers to coordinate treatment including crisis care team members, support team members, case management, counselors, psychiatric providers, and clinical leaders
Administrative and Leadership Responsibilities Include:
In partnership with the Director of Crisis Care:
Support a philosophy of providing response to anyone, anywhere, and at any time
Oversight of 24/7 crisis response team(s) and engagement specialists
Developing the service continuum, data collection, maintaining a local governance structure to support the crisis system of care
Developing a program manual for the crisis system of care that utilizes best practices set forth by SAMHSA's Crisis Services- Meeting Needs, Saving Lives Guidance
Day to day monitoring, oversight, and implementation of clinical programs providing crisis care
Ongoing learning of current best practices in behavioral health treatment and crisis care
Provide and training for a wide array of clinical services including assessment, crisis counseling, case management, and discharge planning
Staff selection, training, and evaluation
Provide individual and group clinical supervision
Participate in clinical case reviews using a strengths-based and person-centered approach
Participation in community events, forums, and coalitions to provide education and community engagement
Participate in state crisis system of care learning community which will at a minimum include monthly meetings
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to engage individuals in behavioral health treatment
Ability to provide flexible services as they present and/or scheduled - each day will look different
Knowledge of behavioral health diagnoses and use of the DSM-5
Knowledge of community resources including psychiatric, substance use, medical, and/or other community services
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work as a team player and provide treatment services
Strong customer service skills with everyone encountered
Ability to navigate electronic health record
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Initiative for ongoing self-development (skills, learning, and growing)
Education and Experience:
A Master's degree in a relevant human service field is required, as well as a minimum credential as an LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, or LMFT.  The ideal candidate will have education and previous experience in providing crisis services, as well as experience in providing clinical and administrative supervision.
A valid driver's license, reliable means of transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance are required.
