Job Description Summary 
 This Assistant Registrar is responsible for the ongoing administration and development of the university catalogs. This position will aid the curriculum implementation and help enact curriculum exceptions through alignment with the catalog. This position is also responsible for ensuring the accurate and consistent articulation of transfer credit that students bring into the university through a variety of programs, including but not limited to, Course Work Away, PLA, Study Abroad, Graduate Transfer credit, Partnership programs, etc. This position will assist with registration, orientation, degree audits, student records maintenance, enrollment/education certifications and special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities 
 Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration, and active support of the University's Mission in Catholic and LaSallian higher education.


Coordinate the regular updating of the university catalogs including the creation of an approved processing timeline as well as providing training to end-users in the colleges/departments on the efficient use of the catalog software.
Support the curriculum modification approval process.
Oversee a variety of transfer articulation processes including Course Work Away, PLA, Study Abroad, Graduate Transfer Credit, Partnership Credit Posting to ensure established policies and procedures are followed. Collaborate with partner offices to maintain transfer articulation tables and records.
Serve as a member of the Degree Works scribe team, supporting Associate Registrar and ensuring consistency between catalog requirements and DegreeWork requirements.
Adjust and build approved course updates in Banner.
Review DegreeWorks exception requests for appropriate alignment with university policies and curriculum. Update exceptions in DegreeWorks.
Assist with registration and participate in new and transfer student orientations as requested.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve student records issues in collaboration with other offices on campus (i.e. Admissions, IT, Financial Aid, Business Office, etc.).
Evaluate and develop efficiencies in workflow and records processing in collaboration with office across campus.
Inform and advise students, faculty and staff on academic policies and procedures related to student records.
Enforce University and Office of the Registrar policies and procedure.
Comply with FERPA/ADA and other applicable laws pertaining to academic records.
Serve on University committees and/or task forces as assigned.
Assist in special projects and/or activities as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications 
 A bachelor's degree is required. Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing. Interest in working in a collaborative team environment. Candidates must also have a commitment to Catholic higher education and to the University's LaSallian Mission.
Preferred Qualifications 
 Experience working in a Registrar's office or in Higher Education environment.
