Engineering 360 Sr Product Management
Capital One is looking for an experienced Product leader who can lead key initiatives in the E360 team. This team is optimizing Capital One developer experience on creating competitive applications by enabling the tooling and best practices as well as ensuring that our Tech teams are well managed. The goal for the team is to deliver code faster and, in the background, drive automation that ensures applications are well managed. As a value stream lead, you will own the strategy and execution of the vision; inspire and direct your team, users and adjacent teams; drive a continuous discovery process, optimizing for user adoption. This leader will instill an outcome orientation in the team and alignment with other product and technology leaders to optimize cross team efforts. One of the important aspects of the role is the focus on talent, recruiting, and building a world-class team to deliver on this journey.

As part of the E360 team (developer experience & well managed), you'll have access to:

Design the future of a system that ensures applications are well managed while optimizing developers' time and experience towards application development.

Work with leaders across the company to find and take advantage of valuable shared services, allowing your team more time to focus on unique, high-value work

Drive accelerated continuous discovery process that optimizes on user adoption through outcome orientation and empowerment

Identify opportunities for automation or new product development based on data available on the various tools used by our engineering team

In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in four key areas:

Human Centered

You'll lead sourcing and synthesis of customer discovery efforts to understand customer needs to drive the long term vision for your product

You'll turn these customer insights into actionable strategies that will define the priorities for your team and rally your stakeholders to your vision

Business Focused

You'll own and prioritize the long-term (12-18 months) product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes, working closely with a cross-functional team to ensure that all the right resources are aligned to ensure that and your team will be successful

You'll define KPIs for your product and will be responsible for measuring and tracking to those measures, with an eye to adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictates

Technology Driven

You'll have an end-to-end understanding of your product and how it fits into the larger ecosystem to be able to anticipate impacts from changes in other parts of the business

You'll work closely with tech leadership and architecture to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the ultimately customer experience your team will deliver always looking to ensure you're using the best tool for the job
