Responsibilities
The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) is comprised of 4 departments: Academic Advising, Academic Resource Center, Accessibility Services, and Registrar's Office. ACE provides academic support to students, service to faculty, and maintains all academic records. Responsibilities include:
Administrative support - assist with tasks such as filing, imaging, organizing documents, answering phone calls, and helping walk-ins (Career & self-development, Communication, Critical thinking, Equity & Inclusion, Professionalism, Technology)
Data entry - utilize computer skills to provide data entry, reports, and analysis as needed (Career & self-development, Communication, Critical thinking, Teamwork, Technology)
Research assistance - review academic records, policy and best practices for accessibility services, coaching, tutoring, and registrar's office (Career & self-development, Communication, Critical thinking, Equity & Inclusion, Leadership, Professionalism, Teamwork, Technology)
Social media and marketing support - manage social media accounts, create content, and develop marketing strategies (Critical Thinking, Equity & Inclusion, Leadership, Professionalism, Teamwork, Technology)
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs
Detail-oriented, able to function independently, self-starter
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Excellent computer navigational, data entry and typing skills
Current student, minimum 2.5 GPA
Federal work study eligibility highly preferred
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position
Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university
