Tasks may include dishwashing, serving, food prep and more. This position is intended to provide support for the restaurant classes and allow for a smooth service.
Required Qualification(s)Desire to learn Front of House Restaurant Operations
Ability to stand for 8 hours
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to work with others
Maintain work areas in a clean, sanitary, well-organized manner.
Must be enrolled for six (6) credit hours for fall 2024 or three (3) credit hours for summer 2024 and maintain a 2.0 GPA
Desired Qualification(s)Food Handlers Permit
Posting Date Special Instructions Summary Pay Rate $15.00 Location Grayslake Total Hours per week 10-20 Work ScheduleVariable, Monday – Friday between 8 AM 4:30 PM with most need on days with Prairie Restaurant service or prep days.
Will work around class schedule to the extent possible.
Position runs through the end of the academic year.
