Job Description

As part of this unique team that works directly with product management, database engineering, business practices, field sales, and cloud operations; you will have a detailed understanding of our Database offering, pricing models, ordering workflow, commercial terms, and product release cycle. The role will require very strong verbal, data analysis, analytics, documentation and presentation skills.

Scope includes:

+ Understand pricing across Database products/services, including internal costs to deliver services; provide data analysis to Product Managers and leadership team as required to make business decisions.

+ Analyze product market area and assist Product Managers with building proposals to increase monetization existing products and services based on market research and understanding of existing customer purchase-consumption patterns

+ Designs, develops and automate methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse data sources to generate actionable insights.

+ Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.

+ Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization

+ Experience conducting research to interpret findings into presentations/fact sheets/whitepapers

+ Experience creating analyses to present to business stakeholders

Desired Skills

+ High level of analytical problem-solving skills and ability to assimilate complex information, as well as experience in building and deploying innovative solutions

+ Commitment to creating rigorous, high-quality insights from data

+ Experience with working on model implementation with engineering teams

+ Nice to have experience with adapting new AI and LLM techniques

+ Strong communication skills at all levels of technical & non-technical audience

+ Team player with strong interpersonal skills and experience of working in cross-functional teams, ideally in an Agile setting

+ Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams

+ Familiarity with data transformation and ELT/ELT pipelines best practices and tooling (e.g. incremental tables, metrics)

+ 8 years relevant work experience. BS preferred.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $109,100 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
