The Sr Strategic Planning Program Manager will have responsibility for managing complex strategic projects, involving delegation of work and review of work products, at times acting as a team leader.

+ This will require extensive experience in Power BI and Power Apps. The Sr Strategic Planning Program Manager must have the ability to turn data into insights and to analyze data and trends to solve business problems. Extensive problem-solving experience, detail oriented cross-functional collaboration capabilities (globally) are a must – along with excellent customer service and communication skills.

A Day in the Life

In the Sr Strategic Planning Program Manager position, responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

+ Develop, inspect, mine, transform and model data to increase productivity, improve decision making and gain competitive advantage throughout our facilities, real estate, business continuity, security and enterprise risk portfolio.

+ Evaluate data to assist Medtronic with predictive forecasting.

+ Build Power Apps to support business decision-making / improvement business utilization of data platforms.

+ Create and innovate Medtronic’s Power BI dashboards for the Enterprise Risk and Facilities function.

+ Manage medium to large-scale programs across the Enterprise Risk and Facilities organization with program plans and delivery methodologies with accountability for overall program process, performance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Requires:

+ 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience in the understanding of systems, software and technological concepts. Familiarity with data analysis tools and data modeling methodologies along with extensive experience in Power BI reporting and Power Apps….. OR

+ 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree with relevant experience in the understanding of systems, software and technological concepts. Familiarity with data analysis tools and data modeling methodologies along with extensive experience in Power BI reporting and Power Apps.

+ Mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Nice to Have

Priority will be given to applicants who have education, experience, and/or certifications in the following areas:

+ Strong leadership, team building, and influence management skills.

+ Proven technical, problem solving, and project management skills.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in communication methods.

+ Strong process orientation and change management / agent capabilities.

+ Substantial PowerPoint presentation skills suitable for all levels of the organization.

+ Self-motivated and self-directed work style, able to work with limited direction.

+ Blends a strong technical background with knowledge of business needs to define strategic and tactical direction to the business.

+ Ability to think strategically and to approach problems with a business mindset.

+ Ability to work with both technical staff and non-technical users.

+ Significant expertise in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).

+ Competency in use of virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams).

+ Fluent English language skills – written and spoken; any additional language is a plus.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
