Schedule: Days 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (hours vary depending on needs of laboratory)

As a Laboratory Manager, you'll get to:

• Demonstrate respect for all team members by seeking input on processes and problem
  solving, communicate key information, collaborative teamwork and support a culture
  of diversity.
• Hire, supervise, train, and evaluates performance of assigned personnel. Coach and
  develop assigned personnel; identifies and effectively resolves personnel issues. Leads with
  humility and a willingness to listen and consider suggestions from everyone, regardless of
  position or status
• Develop and maintain regular and effective communications and relations with hospital
  personnel. Customer relationship is proactive and on-going and may includes problem-solving, education, technical support, and program development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or medical laboratory science required.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist by a recognized certifying agency required or CLIA equivalent for moderate or high complexity testing required.
• Certification as a Technologist in blood banking (BB) or Specialist in blood banking (SBB) preferred.
• Five years laboratory experience required. To Include:
  • Two years supervisory experience required.
  • Previous blood bank or blood center experience preferred.
