This role is a hybrid schedule requiring the person to be onsite at our Bannockburn location 3 days a week and up to 30% travel

Position Purpose:

The Sr Manager Engagement Culture, Diversity, and Inclusion will deliver programs and processes focused on enhancing diversity, inclusion and team member engagement. This position will have direct involvement in building a global, diverse and inclusive work environment where all differences are valued and represented, while all team members feel welcome and able to bring their authenticity to deliver results. Another key area of focus is to manage employee engagement initiatives and programs focused on championing Stericycle's culture and partner with the ERG.

Key Job Activities:

* Manage deliverables and initiatives in alignment with an overall strategic roadmap with short and long term initiatives that address organizational wide employee engagement, culture, and diversity and inclusion goals.
* Serve as a partner and resource for Diversity Council, Employee Resource Groups (ERG) Chairs and Culture Ambassadors. Develop messaging on how each ERG is changing the culture of Stericycle.
* Manage the rollout, implementation and action planning of global engagement programs.
* Manages organizational wide, diversity, inclusion and engagement metrics. Measures impact of new initiatives against key performance indicators and metrics to monitor effectiveness of existing programs and initiatives making recommended changes if needed.
* Partner with the Talent Acquisition to drive continued commitment to building talent pipelines for underrepresented groups and an inclusive hiring process.
* Partner with the Learning & Development team in creating learning programs that drive diversity and culture awareness and employee engagement.
* This position will also perform a wide variety of duties which include but are not limited to project management, project implementation, analytical reporting, high-level communications, training and education content development, and other general support for all global engagement initiatives.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communication, Business or related field or the equivalent in related work experience.
* Minimum of 7 plus years of progressive Human Resources and Diversity & Inclusion.
* The ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal and presentation skills) at all levels of the organization.
* Project Management Skills: ability to organize priorities and effectively manage projects
* Proficient in establishing priorities and meeting swift deadlines in a fast pace, rapidly changing environment
* Experience working with large global organizations with diverse employee demographics strongly preferred
* Experience working with all levels of management and team members and the ability to work with cross functional teams
* Demonstrates proficiency with all Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook; experience in webinar administration
