What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for media commercial agreements with key General Merchandise manufacturers and agencies that support them. The role is heavy business development to drive sales of Circana solutions to improve advertisers' effectiveness and efficiencies for their marketing and media programs. In addition to direct sales, you will be responsible for deepening and broadening the relationship with the clients connecting with their sales teams to enable the teams to sell more products through consultative selling, innovation, business insights, and creative problem solving.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong working knowledge of current trends in the Media, Marketing, Online Marketing, Market Research and General Merchandise/M&E Industries, including data sources (traditional panel, on-line access panels, client proprietary panels, retailer frequent shopper data, other customer-level databases, etc.) that will be the foundation to drive actionable insights.
  • Manage multiple clients and create strategies and programs to scale.
  • Interact seamlessly with both internal and external executive leadership.
  • Provide the final presentation of insights and strategic recommendation(s) to clients.
  • Serve as a thought leader in the media analytics space through a GM lens, by writing white papers, speaking at conferences, etc.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience including deep domain knowledge of media, application to Media and Entertainment manufacturers (studios, video games, toys, etc.) is preferred.
  • Strong sales skills inclusive of disciplined pipeline management; experience or capacity to call, own and deliver against a number; business plan/client penetration development and execution; strong influencing skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing activities based on levels of sales opportunities.
  • Experience developing strategies to expand services and penetrate client organizations based on gaining knowledge of client pain points and anticipating potential emerging business issues.
  • Proven experience collaborating/partnering cross-functionally to achieve sales results
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The salary range for this role is $84,000.00 $150,000.00.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
