What will you be doing?

Are you fascinated with consumer behavior and enjoy addressing client business issues? You'll love this role! As a Client Development Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to work with and on behalf of the largest and most well-known U.S. CPG companies, focused on Consumer & Shopper Insights (CSI). You will bring your analytic skill set to life through creating consumer insights stories, delving into the depths of consumer behaviors. You will build and analyze Best-In-Class reports within Circana's Unify+ platform and consumer panel data sets. You will support our CSI team in supporting current projects, analyzing panel data and build compelling presentations. You will collaborate internally within Circana product vertical teams and product management, identifying and resolving data issues and fostering connected insights. You will be exposed to career development opportunities by working with clients, honing your presentation and client communication skills, and building your career in the dynamic business development landscape of tech-enabled data.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the CSI team in data insights and consumer behavior stories around clients' brands and categories, researching and answering business needs promptly and effectively.
  • Develop effective and efficient data extraction and analysis skills in Consumer & Shopper applications within Unify.
  • Have a fluent knowledge of Consumer & Shopper Insights best-in-class reports, address prospective clients' business issues . This knowledge also includes product/data sets as well as various research methodologies and tools.
  • Assist in training new client users to navigate Consumer & Shopper applications within Unify and help clients leverage and build upon best-in-class reporting.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to uncover insights and trends that drive actionable recommendations for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Circana to ensure alignment on research objectives and deliverables and
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and drive business growth through data-driven insights, including following up on any client data questions and resolving any data issues.
  • Finally, the position will require a comfort with learning a Circana proprietary technology platform across several different consumer and shopper solutions. This includes being able to extract the required data for analyses and demonstrate/train the solutions to clients in sales presentations.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills tied to answering business questions around consumer behavior required. Experience in Consumer and Shopper Insights via panel purchase behavior is a plus.
  • Proven impact in client engagement skills through reports, presentations, and communications. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency at solving problems and managing multiple projects.
  • Stringency in high quality standards in accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to timelines.
  • Four-Year undergraduate degree is strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in consumer/shopper data.
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with experience in data mining through software and/or platforms.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The starting salary range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000.
