Job Description
Zebra Technologies Corporation. Partner with stakeholders to establishes requirements and architecture for software design Projects. Work well within a distributed team, building on shared goals and concerns and assist teams in engineering highly scalable solutions for services. Act as escalation point for support departments in resolving customer facing issues regarding environment deployment, service issues, and technical questions. Consistently meet deadlines for sophisticated issues and new projects involving multiple Teams. Continuously stay abreast of new developments in supported operating systems to ensure compatibility with established infrastructure. Develops and tests documentation for the software projects. Considers the latest technologies and innovative approaches to designs and implementation of designs. Reviews changes or upgrades to existing software and/or firmware designs. Develops new technology to solve unique problems. Applies existing technology in new ways to improve performance and efficiency. May develop new tools to aid in the analysis and solving of problem. Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for acquiring solutions. Networks with senior, internal and external, personnel in own area of expertise. Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related and 5 years of experience required. Telecommuting permitted.
