RN, Interventional Radiology
Job Duties
Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience in the GI Lab.
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their condition periodically
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
Perform quality rounds on medications and supplies and other equipment as applicable
Requirements
Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
BLS/CPR and ACLS certification required (AHA)
Prior Critical Care/Emergency Department and conscious sedation experience highly preferred. Medical Surgical with telemetry monitoring experience preferred
Position Details
Day Shift with varies start times, rotating hours and rotating weekends
On-Call responsibility 1-2 days/week, and 2-4 weekends shifts in 6-week schedule
Travel to different NorthShore sites at times
