We have an opportunity for a remote Clinical Quality Specialist on our Improving Health Outcomes team. As a Clinical Quality Specialist, you will provide clinical/Quality Improvement (QI) coaching to support healthcare organizations (HCOs) and clinical care teams engaging with IHO on cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical/QI Coaching Delivery

+ Provide customized clinical/QI coaching to HCOs and clinical care teams by assessing needs and identifying improvement opportunities.

+ Create and deliver engaging clinical/QI content on CVD prevention for healthcare organizations and clinical care teams using various modalities, formats, and platforms .

+ Review, interpret, and incorporate evidence, guidelines, and metrics into clinical and QI coaching and content.

Clinical/QI Coaching Improvement

+ Proactively lead, manage, and execute projects related to clinical/QI coaching evaluation and improvement: develop charters, timelines, and work plans and ensure deliverables are met within budget and on time.

Clinical Subject Matter Expertise

+ Contribute to IHO’s clinical and QI solutions and support achievement of IHO goals by providing subject matter expertise on clinical care processes and settings.

+ C ollaborate with colleagues across the AMA and at partner organizations to advance CVD prevention nationally.

May include other responsibilities as assigned REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelor’s degree required 2. Certification and 3 years’ experience working in a clinical care setting, preferably ambulatory care, as a Registered Nurse . 3. Leadership experience with quality improvement initiatives, preferably in an ambulatory care setting. 4. Excellent written and verbal communication, including experience with creating and delivering presentations and facilitating meetings. 5. Previous experience leading and collaborating on projects with multidisciplinary teams. 6. Project management, time management, and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize effectively, work independently, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. 7. Demonstrated interest and dedication to professional development and continuous learning . 8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel). 9. Time management and problem-solving skills. 10. Ability to engage in some travel as required . The pay range for this position in Chicago IL, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, Wisconsin, or Washington D.C. is $73k-$98k.This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographical location and business or organizational needs.
