Job Description
Amergis is hiring for a Spanish Bilingual LPN to work in a clinic setting in Chicago, IL!
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
+ Identifies and prioritizes actions based upon patient care requirements
+ Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the Clinic policies and patient care outcome standard
+ Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic patient environment
+ Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education
+ Documents patient’s response to nursing and other interventions
+ Monitors the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment
+ Participates in activities to facilitate good interpersonal communications with the chosen facility
+ Administers vaccines or any necessary medications
+ Makes follow-up phone calls to the patients
+ Inputs information into the computer
+ Helps stock and maintain the cleanliness of the facility
Minimum Requirements:
+ Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
+ Current BLS card through American Heart Association
+ Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License in Illinois
+ One year experience as an LPN/LVN required
+ One year experience in a clinic setting required
+ Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
