Job Title: Assembler
Location: Dixon, IL
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $18-$20/hr
Shift: 1st Shift
Job Description:
+ As an Assembler, you fit and assemble components according to assembly blueprints, manuals, engineering memos and sketches under moderate supervision, depending on the incumbent is performing, you may be required to:
+ Read and understand bill of materials
+ Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or per work instructions
+ Fit, align, adjust, fasten and/or plumb parts together to ordinary tolerances
+ Use tools such as wrenches, impact guns, utility knife, drift pins, sealant tape, glue, staple gun, nail gun, sheet grinder and any other required tools/equipment safely and effectively
+ Operate a man lift, scissor lift, overhead crane, hoist and/or forklift as required after in house certification is obtained
+ Tag and label finished units
+ Confers with supervision, area lead, maintenance, or others to resolve assembly issues
+ Cross-train in other departments
+ Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
+ Ability to read, write, and use basic math skills.
+ Familiarity with basic hand tools.
