SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting producers and account managers in processing new business, renewing existing business, and day-to-day account services for clients. Serves as an advocate for clients and their employees through positive relationships with carriers and continuous education.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provides administrative support and customer service.
* Creates census files for proposals and renewing business.
* Processes individual and group applications.
* Composes general correspondence with clients and carriers.
* Interacts with clients to respond to inquiries concerning service accounts.
* Maintains a professional relationship with clients and carrier representatives through exceptional customer service.
* Coordinates appropriate resources to address the client's management needs.
* Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information on a timely basis).
* Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two (2) or more years related work experience
Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor including obtaining Group 1 licensing
SKILLS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
Problem solving and time management skills
Critical thinking and good judgement to quickly determine and prioritize key issues
Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
