Job Description Summary

As a Product Manager in GE HealthCare’s global cardiology care area team, you will own the cross-modality multi-generational roadmap and execute the introduction of new multi-modal products and solutions. The role will take a customer-first approach to develop concepts, value propositions, clinical claims, go-to-market plans and work backwards to orchestrate R&D activities across several product teams – aiming at delivering the highest customer value. The role will also take into consideration the back-end processes, services and clinical training to support solution delivery. You will drive multiple strategic partnerships with device vendors, key opinion leaders (KOL), startups and other players. You will work closely with business leadership in the cardiology care area, the segments, business development, sales channels, internal and external engineering teams. You will also work to develop structure for product management and execute on successful product launch & product life Cycle management leveraging GE HealthCare processes.

En tant que Responsable Produit dans l’équipe globale de soins en cardiologie (Cardiology Care Area) de GE HealthCare, vous gérerez la feuille de route multigénérationnelle et entre différentes modalités, et mettrez en œuvre l’introduction de nouveaux produits et solutions multimodaux. Le rôle adoptera une approche axée sur le client pour développer des concepts, des propositions de valeur, des revendications cliniques, des plans d’accès au marché et travaillera à rebours pour orchestrer les activités de R&D à travers plusieurs équipes de produits, visant à offrir la plus grande valeur au client. Le rôle prendra également en compte les processus en aval, le service et la formation clinique pour soutenir la livraison de solutions. Vous piloterez de multiples partenariats stratégiques avec des fournisseurs de dispositifs, des leaders d’opinion clés (Key Opinion Leaders / KOL), des startups et d’autres acteurs. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec la direction commerciale dans le domaine des soins en cardiologie, les segments, le développement commercial, les canaux de vente, les équipes d’ingénierie internes et externes. Vous travaillerez également sur le développement de la structure pour la gestion de produits et sur la mise en œuvre réussie du lancement de produits et de la gestion du cycle de vie des produits en tirant parti des processus de GE HealthCare

Job Description

Essential Functions:

+ Lead medical device development in a cross-functional and cross-business environment with a wing-to-wing product management responsibility including product marketing.

+ Leverages deep understanding of market dynamics and evolution. Understand competitive landscape, market risks and solution differentiation.

+ Lead matrixed teams to refine/develop product and channel roadmaps, strategy efforts, lifecycle management planning, and assessments of probability-of-success.

+ Drive KOL engagement, medical advisory boards, co-design, clinical piloting and clinical evidence generation. Builds and leverages clinical expertise and thought leadership to drive product and solutions roadmaps.

+ Ensure actions are taken as necessary to meet project targets and make decisions within the strategic framework defined by the GE HealthCare new product introduction, marketing, sales and distribution processes.

+ Ensure alignment between leadership, engineering teams and regions to maximize customer and business value. Drives accountability to business plans and manages risks.

+ Responsible for the project plan including its budget, interacting pro-actively and assertively with Finance, Business development, engineering team and stakeholders to ensure that the budget is planned and used effectively.

+ Work lockstep with program management, UX, engineering and leadership to execute with agility and speed.

+ Communicate and present project details to senior management.

Qualifications/requirements:

+ Bachelors Degree within an appropriate Engineering/Science/Marketing discipline

+ Experience in the fields of Structural Heart and Percutaneous Coronary Interventions.

+ Excellent medical, technical and business acumen

+ Minimum of 10 years experience in product management/marketing and product launch within healthcare, Biotechnology or medical.

+ Familiarity with Design Controls, FDA and other relevant regulatory standards

+ Familiarity with lean/agile product development methodologies and design thinking

+ Demonstrated ability to execute on project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget requirements.

+ Demonstrated engineering knowledge, product management, and business planning processes, having experience with the managing the full product lifecycle.

+ Experience and knowledge in developing and launching regulated products.

+ Ability to extensive international travel, visiting customers and GE HealthCare manufacturing sites (including travel to Buc, France and Horten, Norway)

+ Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

+ Experience in one or more of the technical fields of fluoroscopy, echocardiography, catheters, computer tomography

+ PhD or Master’s Degree in a relevant technical field

+ Strong demonstrated team-based skills.

+ Ability to work across all functions/levels as a part of a team.

+ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to inspire excellence and stimulate change.

+ Experience and knowledge in the product development and launch of cross-business solutions.

Work Location

+ The desired work location is Buc, France. For the right candidate, remote work from the USA can also be considered.

+ A successful candidate that is located outside France will be expected to travel frequently to Buc to meet with engineering teams and IGS business product management staff leadership.
