Job Description
Description We are in search for a diligent Contracts Manager to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for contract review and obligation management within the telecom industry. This role offers a contract employment opportunity and requires skills in CRM, Documentation, Document Review, and Contract Management.
Responsibilities:
- Review and manage client contracts to ensure compliance
- Thoroughly examine historical records of client contracts to improve future dealings
- Regularly go through active client contracts from the past 2-3 years
- Manage around 1,000 total client records including MSAs and NDAs
- Utilize the contract management system – Sharepoint and Microsoft Dynamic System for efficient contract management
- Work on the improvement of compliance within the contracts
- Ensure accurate documentation of all contract details
- Resolve any contract-related inquiries from clients
- Monitor contract obligations and ensure they are met in a timely manner
- Take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments from clients Requirements – Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role or a similar position
- Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Excellent knowledge of contract management and its best practices
- Strong skills in documentation and document review
- Ability to interpret and analyze contracts
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or relevant field is preferred.
- Professional certification in contract management is a plus.
