Job Description
Our client, a leader in their manufacturing industry, is looking to add multiple welders to their operations. They have openings on 1st shift within their operation. We are looking for individuals who have experience in welding and are open to seeing entry level welders to be considered for an opportunity that have at least a year of welding experience. These positions are long term/permanent job openings due to increases in business.
Description:
Candidate in this position will start in a production role and then they will have the opportunity to move over in a MIG welding apprentice program. Looking for candidates that have the certification to eventually train. The MIG welder will be responsible for performing welds on various parts of displays for customers. 60 – 70% of their time will be spent welding and the rest of their time working a punch press, or grinding material if they have experience with buff or finish grinding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Needs to at least be currently enrolled in a welding class at a local school or have completed the schooling (needs to eventually complete). Will look at someone who is experienced and will pay more with experience
