What makes this a great opportunity?

As Manager, Market Development & Commercialization Operations , your primary responsibility will be supporting the Sr. Director of MDC Operations in managing 2 key processes for Beam Suntory North America: The end-to-end marketing planning and deployment process, ensuring timely delivery and alignment between key groups, and the monthly business performance management process, conducted by our marketing and commercial teams.

This role will also help establish key processes that enable MDC to successfully bridge the marketing & commercial organizations, help with strategic projects that arise over time and help manage annual, large scale deployment events.

This complex and crucial role requires a strategic, well-organized business leader who can be assertive, when needed, to keep operations and stakeholders on track.

This role is based out of Chicago or New York and reports directly to the Sr Director of Market Development & Commercialization Operations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Help drive US Brand Planning process, timeline and key planning and deployment templates.
  • Ensure US join up with Global Brand House and feedback loop between US Brands, Commercial Marketing, Channel Marketing, and Field Marketing is working through key milestones in the annual brand planning process.
  • Own cadence for US Brands, Channel Marketing and Commercial Marketing collaboration during key National planning windows.
  • Drive monthly process, analysis and presentation preparation across brand and commercial teams for performance management reviews.
  • Coordinate actions coming out of performance management reviews and ensure key decisions are cascaded to brand and commercial teams and feed into S&OP process.
  • Partner with Sr Director, MDC Operations and cross-functional partners to establish key processes that enable MDC to bridge marketing and commercial organizations.
  • Support Sr. Director, MDC Operations with additional strategic projects that arise over time.
  • Help organize and execute key deployment events such as the annual North America Leadership Meeting and Commercial Leadership Forum.
