Position: Neuro Hospitalist

Full Time
Schedule: One week on and one week off (7 days on and 7 off)

This position is located within the Neurology Department, Glenbrook and Skokie Hospital campus of NorthShore University HealthSystem. We are looking for a well-trained, compassionate neurologist with a passion for the depth and breadth of neurologic conditions and the care of hospital patients with neurologic disorders. NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) and its affiliates serve a large and diverse patient population; there is a strong commitment from affiliated academic institutions (University of Chicago) to support the highest level of care for this diverse and complex patient population.

he Neurology Team includes 50 providers in various sub-specialties of Neurology with clinic locations along the north shore. Opportunities exist for collaborative or investigator-initiated research.

What you will do:
The successful applicant will be expected to maintain and further develop our vigorous inpatient consultation and teach residents and medical students
Support the highest level of care for this diverse and complex patient population
Excellent clinical skills
Desire to teach residents, interns, and medical students
Help everyone in our community be their best

What you will need:
License:Medical License or license eligible in the state of Illinois
DEA/Controlled Substance license or pending
Education: Completion of a Neurology Residency Program
Certification: Board certified or Board eligible in Neurology
