**This position is scheduled to be a temporary part time role**

Savvas prides itself on employing highly skilled, passionate, dedicated Professional Learning Content Developers who focus on applying best practices in instructional design, content area pedagogy, multimedia content, and professional learning. Our Professional Learning Content Developers have a deep understanding of K-12 Teaching and Learning, Science Standards and Research-Based Pedagogy, and Culturally Responsive Instruction. They are also very comfortable learning to use new technology, leveraging that to create outcomes-driven, digitally-enhanced professional learning content.

In order to design professional learning offerings that resonate, Professional Learning (PL) Content Developers are in constant communication with educators across the country, gathering firsthand knowledge of their goals and needs. This valuable insight is used to create professional learning resources and experiences that strategically move educators from the known to the new and result in pedagogical changes that affect student learning outcomes that are observable in the classroom. PL Content Developers work as a team to help ensure that professional learning resources and experiences are authentic, content-rich, research-based, and outcomes-driven. As such, the team engages in ongoing feedback conversations and corresponding revisions to professional learning assets.
In addition to designing professional learning content, individuals in this role collaborate with various stakeholders throughout Savvas, learning about programs/program-specific efforts and helping colleagues understand and support professional learning offerings. Professional Learning Content Developers see professional learning offerings from conception through to delivery and revision, coaching those who will facilitate professional learning out in the field. Additionally, in support of an iterative development process, Professional Learning Content Developers reflect regularly with service specialists, using K-12 educators' evidence of understanding to revise professional learning resources and experiences.
