The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a ServiceNow Sr. Analyst with expertise in ServiceNow and/or Workday platforms. This pivotal role focuses on configuring and maintaining our core HR systems to optimize HR operations and enhance employee engagement and productivity.
As a ServiceNow Sr. Analyst, you will leverage your deep knowledge in Workday HCM, Absence, and Time Tracking modules, as well as ServiceNow capabilities, to ensure these systems support our strategic HR goals effectively. Reporting to the HR Transformation team and partnering closely with the HR Technology team, you drive process improvements and ensure system functionalities align with business needs.

What we're looking for

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR system configuration, with ServiceNow and Workday.

Proven track record in configuring and managing Workday modules such as HCM, Absence, and Time Tracking and / or ServiceNow HR Service Delivery

Required Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of HR processes and terminology.

Strong understanding of system configuration principles in ServiceNow and Workday

* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Implementation Specialist.

Proven ability to design and implement technical solutions that meet organizational needs.

Strong attention to data privacy standards and regulations.

Expertise in Vancouver release of ServiceNow

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in Workday HCM, Absence Management, and Time Tracking.

Experience leading cross-functional projects and teams.

Experience with Washington DC release of ServiceNow

Tools/Technology Proficiencies:

Advanced proficiency in Workday configuration (HCM, Absence, Time Tracking).

Strong capability in ServiceNow configuration and optimization.

Knowledge:

Experience working in a large-scale organization with complex IT infrastructure

Familiar with Workday and integrations with internal systems, including ServiceNow

Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address configuration challenges.

Strong time management skills with an ability to manage deadlines and deliver on time.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with business partners across various levels.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret data, generate insights, and make data driven decisions to optimize HR operations.

Innovative: able to create many options to solve issues and choose the best option which results in the desired results.

Abilities:

Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for HR systems to enable employee self-service aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with HR, finance, IT, and other departments to achieve payroll-related objectives and initiatives.

Adaptability and Flexibility: Willingness and ability to adapt to changing regulations, technologies, and business needs in a dynamic environment.

How you will thrive and create an impact

Responsible for workflow configuration, catalog and case configuration, form automation, mobile configuration, virtual assistant, enhancing knowledge and portal experiences, ongoing maintenance, delivering new features with upgrades, and the creation of metrics to drive product maturity and adoption throughout ServiceNow, Workday, and other HR technologies.

Collaborate with various business partners to identify knowledge gaps, capture relevant content, and continuously improve the quality and usability of configurations.

Define and enforce governance policies, standards, and procedures related to the ServiceNow and Workday platforms.
