Manager, Predictive Analytics

Job Description

Execute and manage predictive modeling and analytics projects. Collect, process, analyze, interpret and perform ETL (extract, transform and load) on large data sets using Python, R and SQL. Ensure the data integrity and hygiene processes are in place to identify and solve data issues. Build more complex or fast turnaround statistical models and predictive marketing methodologies. Develop analytical dashboards and simulation applications to provide insights through clear story-driven presentations of model results. Recommend and execute media plan simulations and optimizations. Manage and train analysts to deliver best in class analytics. Support new business pitches.

Requirements:

Master’s in Business Analytics, Statistics, or Finance, plus 2 years of experience in the offered position or a business intelligence or marketing analytics role at a media or marketing agency. *

*All required experience must have included running market mix models and client engagements using understanding of media measurement planning process and range of media measurement approaches; modeling in platforms such as R and SPSS; performing advanced analytics including multivariate/logistic regression analysis, Bayesian shrinkage, ensemble models, factor analysis, sales forecasting, advertising effectiveness, and media simulation and optimization; applying understanding of ad tech ecosystem, media planning, and media metrics (both digital and traditional), including media (impression, GRP, CPV) and measurement analytics; working with ad tech ecosystem, media planning and data visualization tools; using industry tools for syndicated sales (Nielsen/IRI Polk and JD Power), media consumption (Nielsen, Arbitron and Comscore), paid media monitoring (Kantar and AdViews), social media monitoring (NetBase and Sysomos), first party (CRM), digital ad server (DCM and Sizmek), site served, and website analytics (Omniture Site Catalyst or Google 360) and working with dashboarding and data visualization tool like Tableau, and programming with SQL, Python and R.

*This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our Chicago, IL office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.
